Another day in my life

It was the same another day which started with waking up late followed by sprinting to Department which is 20 minutes from my home, assignment discussions , shopping , cacking ,crbbing and the day was ended with some awesome cooking.
The only noteworthy thing that happened today was a MCQ put forth by a professor.So,this professor really puts his heart and soul into his teaching. He is really disappointed with our performance in the mid-term exam and he has asked to speculate on the following to find an answer for the miserable performance.


1) I am a jerk
2)The entire class is a jerk
3) TA of this course is a jerk
4) There is some miscommunication between the professor and the class.

Finally , he concluded by saying that the entire class can not be a jerk and the TA as he vouched for him ,can not be a jerk. Hence either (1) or (4) has to hold true :-)

My other professor is hosting a wine and cheese party tomorrow for no reason :D. This excitement would keep me awake tonight for completion of two assignments!

Interesting math

I like my math-modeling course :-). It is being taught by an excellent professor namely "Dr Jay Lee"- http://www.chbe.gatech.edu/fac_staff/faculty/lee.php. Majority of my batchmates don't understand what he teaches but I simply adore this course. Never earlier has been my liking for a Mathematics course been stronger than this time. He is taking optimization classes these days and I came across two very interesting things.

I got to know that the famous movie "Good will hunting" is based on the story of George Dantzig- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/George_Dantzig.
We were taught a method known as Karmarkar's algorithm for Linear programming. I got fascinated by this indian name and googled for it when I came across more interesting things-alma-mater! - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Narendra_Karmarkar.

I don't have time

There is so much to say but I don't have time! Every day is so happening, every minute eventful and I want to pen down my thoughts before I move ahead and forget these memories, but I don't have time.

No time for breather. Weekend , I am waiting for you!

time just flies by

The title of my blog sounds so cliched but I would not hesitate in saying it over and again here. I so vividly remember this time of last year. Life was rife with placement preparations, SOPS,Resumes, Applications ,BTP submissions and presentations.There was barely time left for any other thing.Looking back, I am amazed at my dexterity to manage things. The summer has gone and its almost a year but I am still the same person as I was a year back ,at the crossroads and on the fence.Its just that people around me have changed. Life is definitely not the same but at the same time its not bad and I guess it just goes on with or without few people.
As I write this blog my thoughts are hovering around a song,"In my life"..

Whats in a name!

Swati is a beautiful name
Isn't is puzzling that such a simple name like "Swati" could be recorded in the weirdest possible way.My German professor, Hajo, changed my name from Swati Rao to Swato. I guess he found the condensed name more handy though Swati itself is short and sweet.
Then somehow my name had a metamorphism from Swato to Swatato: Some weird funda which goes on to saying Swato running a potato factory :
Thats the story till now. Nothing can my latest name courtesy AT&T.
Guess Guess......All permuations and combinations ranging from Swata to Swat-Cat...Swato..Swa..Swad..Soti blah and blooh.
Okay Okay..enough of guessing.
I bet you cannot come out with my miscontrued new name!
So, on the customer bill of AT&T my new name was MUMBAI RAO!

CAN ANYTHING BEAT IT ??

All that I want..

Everynight when I lie down on my green comfortable couch I am invaded by multitudes of thoughts..I sleep everynight after convincing myself that things can wait for tomorrow..But there is no tomorrow.
I want to do so many things..the list is endless and there is no time....
I want to go to starbucks and read a novel while sipping a hot coffee...I want to learn guitar and play songs..I want to go running every evening....I want to watch movies..I want to study..I want to be a nice chef..I want to go hiking...kayaking..canoeing..I want adventure..I want to be the best at everything..I want to go the music room and listen to some nice music..I want to go the crafts center..I want to go shopping for ear-rings and sweat-shirts...I want to pamper myself by having an exotic strawberry icecream and....I do not want to have intelligent conversations with people ......I want nice people in my life..
I do NOT want complications and I want to stay away from relationships.
And finally I want to blog everyday !
